Practical guide: what to pack before a Mandala retreat?
We are often asked: “What should I bring for my retreat?” Here is our Mandala Project checklist to travel light, comfortable, and aligned with the spirit of the stay.
Essential clothing
- 3 leggings or flowy pants for practice.
- 2 shorts or comfortable skirts for free time.
- 1 white outfit for ceremonies (especially sacred cacao).
- 1 light sweater or shawl (evenings can be cool).
- Swimsuit and pareo for sea swims.
Practice accessories
- Non‑slip yoga mat (we have some on site, but it’s nice to have your own).
- Small towel and a yoga strap.
- Reusable water bottle, ideally insulated.
- Notebook and pens for journaling.
Natural products
- Massage oil (sesame for India, coconut for Ibiza).
- Mineral sunscreen, lip balm, natural repellent.
- Gentle supplements: magnesium, digestive herbal tea, Bach flowers.
Mandala tips
We recommend leaving precious jewelry and keeping technology to a minimum. Bring a comfortable backpack, a headlamp for dawn sessions, a small speaker if you like to meditate with music, and above all an open mind. Remember to scan your travel documents and bring a universal adapter.
By traveling light, you make room for the unexpected and for magic. Safe travels!
